Journalism

  • Photojournalist at J. The Jewish News of Northern California

    • This position is part of the Report for America national service program.

    • The salary is $65,000, plus benefits.

  • Staff Reporter at Cleveland Jewish News

  • Freelance Interviewer for LifeBook Memoirs

    • Knowledge of the Jewish religion, history and European emigrant experience is required. The interviewer will guide the author in telling their story, which will be transformed into an autobiography by a ghostwriter. Work includes visiting the author for a series of 12 meetings held over a six-month period.

    • Must live within 10 miles or a 30-minute commute from the author in San Antonio, Texas.

  • Media Specialist at South Hills Day Camp (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)

    • Responsibilities include planning, directing and supervising the camp's media program (videography, photography, social media platforms and My Camp App), producing an end-of-summer video and documenting camp life.

    • Compensation is $11 - $16 an hour, depending on experience, plus perks.
