CURRENT WORK

I'm working on a biography of sorts about the Sunset Grill, sharing the stories and memories of diners and fans of Joe's. Joe and Eva Frohlich, who ran the Sunset Grill from the 1960s through the 1990s, were my grandparents. If you would like to share a memory about the Sunset Grill, or know someone who does, I'd love to hear from you! To learn more about this project, visit this blog series about the production of the book.

I also work as a reporter for The Orion at California State University, Chico, and am a contributing photographer for Sipa USA.

My freelance articles are published in New Voices MagazineThe Times of Israel, and The Jerusalem Post. My freelance photojournalism is published in l'Opinion, NTV, The Christian Science Monitor, Jewish Currents, Education Week, The Guardian, Paris Match, Yahoo News, De Telegraaf, Deutsche Welle and more.
